If you're in Hilton Head, and you don't want a chain, but you do want a great steak, refreshing drinks, and a friendly unassuming atmosphere, come here. I've never been here before, and I'm just here for work, but this place hit the spot! The bartender (David) was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The drinks were very well received. The ribeye and sides were Awesome; cooked perfectly and a very good cut. I will definitely return next time I'm in town for whatever. Try this place. You'll thank me later!

Well, here I go again. I really don't want to give up my best kept secret, but this place is an off the main foo foo road and pretty hidden. It's by the Palmera inn and suites, tucked away. I am having the blackened NY strip with a blue cheese horseradish sauce. The waitress reminds me of good old fashion service. She's polite, happy and engages in conversation. After a cold beautiful day here in January the place is warm, clean, and a very good size. I sat in the bar area. Will I come back? Absolutely! So I'm holding on to this until I get my food and can't tell you with no doubt in my mind. Ny Strip Steak with blue cheese and horseradish yummy. So I'm a very protective restaurant patron. When I see a review that is obviously by some bougie person who thinks he is a food critic and gives a three star review, which can deter a customer from making up their own mind, I get protective. Shannon was my server and she was great. The guy that left a three star review, go to McDonald's you're be better served there. P.S. The prices are reasonable. Anywhere else a coconut shrimp would be at least 18.00 bucks. I had the the blackened New York strip it was 46.00 but huge as you can see. Great fiid

Upon arrival, we were seated immediately. Our party consisted of 3 and we were seated in a large booth. Everything is well kept and clean. The meals came out promptly, with nice full portions, and the service was accommodating. Give these people a try, they won't disappoint.

The food was really good. The lobster bisque was creamy and delicious. Also had the creole fish with sausage and pasta. It was a little more spicy than I like, but other than that it was really good.

We stopped at Nick's Steak and Seafood restaurant on Hilton Head Island for dinner tonight. We have been here in previous visits to the island and once again, the food and the service (with Brin) were exceptional. The ambiance was very good, one of those rare places where you can have a conversation without yelling across the table. We ordered drinks and the strawberry margarita was the big winner. Not too sweet, with a special touch of acai. We ordered an appetizer of hush puppies (8 to an order) and they were excellent. The butter served with the hush puppies was mixed with sweet tea. That touch of sweetness made the hush puppies even better. For entrees, we had the Bourbon Shrimp and Scallop Skewer, the Carolina Chicken, a Peach Salad with fried chicken, and I had the Beaufort Redfish, Savannah Style. The redfish was blackened and seared, then served with crab meat and spinach on top. My sides were green beans and rice. I love redfish and this was the first time I have seen it on a menu since we've been on Hilton Head (about one week)! Their recipe for redfish is worth the visit. That said, everyone cleaned their plates tonight. Smiles all around. In prior visits, we have tried their steaks and the Baby Back Ribs. All good! The restaurant has a Pittsburgh theme with framed jerseys of Lynn Swann and Mario Lemieux. There are photos and other drawings from the Pittsburgh area, too. Definitely worth a visit! There are lots of good choices on the island....this is one of them. Look forward to seeing you again.
